Cause move feed, sometimes they feed them self, or canibalism. Don’t corious, if you see a youngfrog dead caused it, swalowed it can’t, outed it can’t. Even, legs of their friend also bitten, especially if loss feed. It’s cause injury.
Although, naturally likes life food, or move food, but in the culture, bullfrog can be given supplement feed, or feed original from out of pond. When tadpoles, can be given brine, and artificial powder. Giving suplement feed done after natural feed loss.
Whereas, when youngfrog until broodstock can be given ground warms, small fishes, catepillars, and maggots. Other supplement is artificial feed. (Indonesian named floating pellet). This feed is like tablet, and it can float in the water.
Artificial feeds for youngfrog have to have protein 30 – 40 percents. Size of artificial based of size bullfrog, 2 mm for youngfrog in 2 - 4 weeks, 4 mm for youngfrog in 5 – 8 weeks, and 6 mm for youngfrog in 9 – 12 weeks. Whereas 10 mm for broodstock.
